Men’s Group
Having the same fights with your partner. Roommate syndrome. Walled off from others. Our men’s group is a place to find the important conversations that are often missing from our lives, work through relationship conflicts, take on isolation, anxiety or depression, and learn how to build intimacy and friendship.
We start with your relationship with yourself. What do you really want to say “yes” to, and what do you want to say “no” to? How can you get better at saying both? What are the ways you keep circling change, avoiding discomfort, and keeping yourself stuck?
And what are your communication patterns–what works and what doesn’t–and how can we help you change them in the ways that you want?
We also laugh a lot, and cultivate support for each other.
The group is ongoing and we meet weekly in Ashland, on Mondays from 5:15 – 6:45. The fee is $90 per week. The maximum is eight members. New members commit to a trial period of six weeks, so that you will have a chance to make sure this is the group for you.
“The level of communication between my wife and me has improved several-fold as a direct result of the work I have done in our men’s group.” (Men’s group member)
“For me it is like taking a weekly trip to a special gym, with a great trainer, where I work out and practice staying emotionally present. Thus far the objective results are more satisfying communication with my wife, my son, my clients and my employees.” (Men’s group member)
