Online therapy for executives and leaders in Manhattan
Up against it.
For executives, founders and senior leaders, pressure rarely stays neatly contained at work.
A difficult board relationship, a deal that has fallen apart, conflict with a partner, a leadership decision that cannot be avoided or the persistent feeling that the same problems keep returning can begin to affect every part of life.
You may find yourself moving too quickly, avoiding important conversations, repeating the same arguments or succeeding professionally while feeling increasingly disconnected from yourself and the people closest to you.
Online therapy creates a confidential space to slow down and understand what is happening beneath these patterns.
Psychoanalytic therapy for the pressures behind the position
I work with executives, founders and senior leaders who want more than temporary strategies for managing stress.
We begin with the practical problems life is presenting now: pressure at work, recurring relationship conflicts, difficult decisions, anxiety, emotional isolation or patterns that continue despite your efforts to change them.
By staying with these problems and examining them carefully, we can begin to understand how earlier experiences, trauma and long-established defences continue to shape your relationships, decisions and emotional life.
The aim is not simply to function better under pressure. It is to develop greater freedom in how you think, lead, communicate and relate to the people who matter to you.
Online sessions for clients in Manhattan
Sessions are held online, allowing you to attend from a private location without travelling to an office.
Online therapy is available to adults who are physically located in New York at the time of their sessions. Dan Quinn, Psy.D, is a New York-licensed clinical psychologist.
Fees and insurance
The fee is $350 for a 50-minute session.
I do not accept insurance. However, my system can generate and electronically submit out-of-network claims to your insurance company. Depending on your plan, your insurer may partially reimburse you.
This is a recurring private-pay therapy commitment rather than a short-term or occasional consultation. If the fee and format are workable for you, the next step is an initial conversation.
Beginning therapy
We will meet, sometimes for more than one session, before deciding whether to begin working together.
If we decide to proceed, we will make a mutual commitment to meet at a recurring time at least once a week. That appointment time will be reserved for you.
